Background
Patrick MacDonald BJ LLB GradDipLegPrac has almost 20 years’ collective professional experience in the fields of executive marketing management, television, communications, and law.
Along with many years of owning and managing corporate marketing agencies and departments, he holds degrees in Journalism and Law from the University of Queensland, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Skills and Ethics. His ability to offer expert counsel is also supplemented by other accredited qualifications, along with several years' experience as a television presenter and journalist across all species of traditional and digital media.
Patrick is equally at ease with budgets, people, brand and productivity. He is as comfortable taking a seat at the executive management table as he is with supporting entry level co-workers. In all situations he holds firm his core values of empathy, emotional support, and an understanding of genuine pain-points for audiences and local communities. He prides himself on unquestionable loyalty, hard work and a positive, upbeat, "one team" philosophy. All of his work remains cemented in a sound process of social science, supported by data, analytics and measurable results. While highly strategic, he remains fully skilled in all tactical output, such as design, social media and agile marketing software.

Outside of work, Patrick has volunteered his time for multiple charities, including a two-year tender on the board of Queensland Association for Healthy Communities, the results for which were of a global gold standard. He has guest lectured at the University of Queensland and contributed multi-disciplinary thought leadership pieces for Mumbrella, The Guardian, Public Relations Institute of Australia, and the Novosibirsk State Technical University in Siberia. In his downtime, he also enjoys singing, music production, and spending time with his dog 🐶.
