Murphy’s Law Accident Lawyers is getting behind The Pyjama Foundation’s Love of Learning Program, sponsoring a fundraising event for three-time Australian Triathlon Champion Troy Fidler’s solo swim challenge across the English Channel.

Murphy’s Law is backing A Splash of Lycra, an evening of celebration, auctions and raffles on Friday, 23 May, making waves for the worthy cause as its gold sponsor.

The event is in support of Troy’s English Channel fundraising challenge in August, with all proceeds helping The Pyjama Foundation recruit, screen, and train volunteer Pyjama Angels to provide one-on-one support to foster children.

Troy has been training hard for the epic solo journey, where he’ll face a gruelling 12-hour swim through 16-degree freezing waters, beginning in pitch darkness and finishing triumphantly in France.

Troy's every stroke in the water symbolises the strong spirit of all foster care children, who are forced to overcome daily, unimaginable challenges.

“These children enter a world of instability and trauma through no fault of their own, but together, we can change their story,” Troy said.

“Funds raised at A Splash of Lycra will empower the volunteer Pyjama Angels to teach kids to dream big, rebuild confidence, and unlock a love of learning.”

You can support the cause while having a fun-filled evening by securing your tickets to A Splash of Lycra by booking here.
