Brenda Hughes

Brenda Hughes is a friendly, easy-going paralegal who has worked in accident insurance law for many years. People know her for staying calm under pressure and making clients feel better, even when things are hard.

Through her work, Brenda has seen how the unexpected can affect not just one person, but their whole family. That's why she takes the time to listen and make sure people know they are not alone. She thinks that everyone deserves care and compassion, no matter what they are going through.

What made you want to work in this area of law?

"I wanted to help people in a real way. I am fulfilled by helping clients throughout a difficult time; it gives me a strong sense of purpose when I'm a part of that process."

What do you like best about your job?

"I love it when clients get their confidence back after a hard time. The best part of my job is seeing them start to rebuild and move on."

Outside of work, Brenda likes to relax through very calm, zen, and serene outdoor activities like yoga... and motorsports! Especially drag racing! While she's not on the trails, Brenda is also quite the fashionista, having formally worked alongside some of Australia's leading designers, including at Mercedes-Benz fashion week... talk about the perfect crossover of cars and couture!
