Chris was born and bred in Toowoomba. He went to school in Toowoomba and while growing up was involved in junior rugby league and scouting.
The experiences of his youth demonstrated to Chris that being a loyal and dependable member of a team leads to great success personally and for the team. Loyalty and dependability are traits that Chris highly values and strives to espouse in both his professional and personal life.
He appreciates that his team at Murphy's Law are like minded people that have the best interests of others at the forefront of their minds.

Chris is a Queensland Law Society accredited specialist in personal injury law.
Chris has a keen interest in motorsport. He owns a 1967 MG B and is a member of the MG Car Club of Queensland Inc. In addition, he is actively involved in motor sport administration, especially sporting tribunals, with the Confederation of Australian Motor Sport and is part of the training programme for the Federation Internationale de L’Automobile’s (FIA) International Stewards panel.
Chris is also concerned about the plight of those who are forgotten, have no voice and are overlooked by society, especially the poor and the sick. In Australian society these persons are often found amongst the homeless. Chris is a member of the Order of Malta and is active in the Order’s Coats for the Homeless project in the Northern Eastern Region of Australia.
