Meka Morgan

Meka is a Paralegal at Murphy's Law Accident Lawyers with a very handy background in medical administration, having previously dealt with Workcover and Insurance companies on behalf of doctors and patients. Her calm, kind and approachable disposition enables her to genuinely help our clients and get to know them personally, while also working in a fast-paced environment.

She loves being challenged, and is able to take control and operate independently to progress results for our clients, while also enjoying working in a group of people with diverse skills and personalities... perfect for the Murphy's Law team! Her background in busy clinical settings has equipped her with excellent skills in optimising office operations, using her excellent organisation, time management, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.

Above all though, Meka's genuine care for each and every client is possibly the greatest of her contributions to the Murphy's Law team.

What do you enjoy most about working at Murphy's Law?

"Other than the team and our clients, I love being able to use my process-driven administration and organisational skills. I love a good challenge and I thrive under pressure, so I get a real sense of accomplishment when I know I'm ahead and on top of anything that comes my way."

What do you enjoy most about helping clients?

"I have always loved doing what I can to help and assist people in a vulnerable time in their lives. Being someone that people can always rely on gives me a lot of fulfilment."

Having grown up in Forbes, a rural town in New South Wales, Meka is family orientated. She and her husband married two years ago, before relocating to Brisbane for better career opportunities, so we are lucky she made the move and can be with us!

Outside of work, Meka has a love of all things food, so her mission on most weekends is to find new places to eat or even test out a new recipe at home. At any other given chance, you can find her by the beach soaking up the sunshine, exploring the rainforests looking for the next waterfall, or finding the next best spot to watch the sunset.

When she's not being Meka the explorer, a quiet day for her involves tending to her "millions" of house plants, planning her next adventure, trying new hobbies, and spending time with her cat, Bessie.
