In addition to her legal practice, Minaali has demonstrated ongoing leadership and community involvement, including serving as Treasurer of Queensland Young Lawyers. Minaali also has a strong interest in professional development, mentoring, and social justice, having previously held roles as Vocational Director at Rotaract and Student Advisor to a Social Justice Committee.
In 2018, Minaali was awarded a scholarship which provided the opportunity to study in India. That experience gave her valuable insight into different legal systems and, more importantly, a deeper appreciation of vulnerability and the real-world impact that legal structures can have on individuals and communities. It was formative in shaping her perspective on the role of law in supporting people through challenging circumstances.
Outside of work, Minaali enjoys long brunches, wandering through Sunday markets, playing tennis and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
