Background
For Bridie, the most rewarding part of working in law isn't found in textbooks or lecture theatres. It's the opportunity to connect with people, understand their circumstances and make a meaningful difference in their lives. Currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business at Queensland University of Technology, Bridie joined Murphy's Law Accident Lawyers as a Law Clerk after being drawn to the firm's friendly and supportive culture, as well as its commitment to putting people first. Coming from a family with no legal background, she was particularly attracted to an environment that values genuine relationships, compassion and helping others.
Having experienced the impact an accident can have firsthand, Bridie understands the importance of empathy, clear communication and feeling supported when facing unexpected challenges. As one of the first points of contact for many clients, she enjoys getting to know people, understanding their needs and helping create a positive experience from the very beginning of their journey with Murphy's Law.
Before joining Murphy's Law, Bridie built her professional experience across customer service and administrative roles, including positions with a local swim school and as a nanny for a Brisbane family. These roles strengthened her ability to stay organised, communicate effectively and adapt to the needs of different people and situations.
